Having taken some time off I decided to get in a rare mid week hike and headed out to Thunderbird Park for a short jaunt. The map at the trailhead by the amphitheater was hard to make out so I just headed up what I would find out was the Sunrise trail. I was rewarded on the ascent with some great views of the valley. I joined up with the Ridgeline trail and took it until it began to switchback down then returned the same way. Had a nice short hike.
