So I headed up the Apache Wash trail. a beautiful morning was underway with balloons floating in the blue sky. Soon I made it to the trail intersection and turned onto the BB trail. The trail was level and easy to navigate. The cactus and bushes went from plentiful to a little sparser to back again. Views of the mountains to the north were continuos. I eventually crossed several washes and at the 1.14 mile mark I turned around and headed back. There were more bike riders than hikers on the trail and saw no animals. I enjoyed the hike very much and there is nothing that would not make me recommend this trail to someone. |
