Not having done any hiking in a while due to a vision problem that prevented me from driving(which is now corrected) and the promise of a little cooler morning temps I decided to undertake a rare summertime in town hike. I arrived at the VC parking lot around 6:45and found it about 3/4 full. The humidity was high this morning(76%) so it did not feel as cool as I had hoped. I went a little under 2 miles today with a lot of company along the way both hikers and riders. I enjoyed my hike but look forward to a less humid morning for my next one.
