Decided to take a trip up 8A to the top of the ridge for the first time in about ten years. The trail was as I remembered it, nice to see that the big rock has not moved. The ascent was a little laborious but not too bad. Though I was not happy to see the section where there is a lot of stepping up which means stepping down on the way back. Not my favorite thing to do. The overcast day did not make for great views. The trail was moderately busy and the weather was nice today.
