| no partners | | Tracie, my intrepid hiking partner, and I decided to make Quandary Peak our 3rd 14er of the week. We got to the TH right at sunrise, and the parking area near the TH was full, so we parked at a lower parking area, which was about half full.
We had a bright sunny day to hike, which was delightful.
This is a cool hike, and due to the elevation gain it was a bit more difficult than Bierstadt and Sherman, which were the 14ers that we hiked on the previous 2 days.
There was great scenery along the way, and at the summit.
The parking area was just off of a paved road, and is about 8-9 miles south of Breckenridge. |

Autumn Foliage Observation Substantial
There were quite a full aspens in their full autumn glory, including some with orange leaves. |
