Quick early morning hike to the cave/possible dwelling I found during Sunday’s hike.
Plenty of water in Horton Canyon and is awesome too see the falls flow for over a month now.
After finding nearby ancient Indian remnants I’ve started to put a lot more attention to the ground and surroundings out here discovering many more evidence in the process.
The cave I saw from afar ended up just being more of an alcove but I did end up finding two other clear cut caves that are inside the upper canyon on the northern cliff wall.
No time to go down and check them out but a return trip is due and it’s about time I write an official HAZ description for this worthy little canyon for locals and visitors alike.
