We parked at Peralta, then walked over to the Lost Goldmine trailhead. West on Lost Goldmine, quickly shedding our jackets within about half a mile.

We decided to try to become insta-famous and went over to Wave Cave for the perfect picture. We were early enough so that only a few people were up there, but we passed a lot of people on our way back down.

From there we headed up to West Boulder Saddle. Slowly. Lots of bugs too. At the saddle, we headed east over to Robber's Roost. We took a snack break at the Roost, then headed north and down to Fremont Saddle.

Mob scene at Fremont, which we quickly got past, then down Cave Trail. It was getting warm on our way down Cave, but there was a nice breeze at times, which was welcomed. Finished off on Bluff Springs and back to the lot before 1:00pm.

A lot of scenery packed into relatively few miles. Nice day.
