Wanted something a little different today. Headed up Lost Mine, stopping for about 20 minutes to chat with another hiker. Once we parted ways, I headed east on National over to Goat Hill, then east again and down Ranger. Lots of flowers on Ranger right now. East on Los Lomitas--tons of poppies just before you reach Kiwanis. Up Kiwanis, then west on National up to Pyramid. Down Pyramid and back to the trailhead. Lots of poppies on the top mile of Pyramid too. Saw a few lizards, grasshoppers, and some gnats. Warm today too.
