Headed up to the Apache Wash Trailhead this morning. The hot air balloons in the sky above the freeway made for a colorful sight. Got underway about 6:20 am. I was headed for an Apache Wash Trail loop using the first connector. I hiked under a beautiful cloudless sky with very comfortable temps. I shared the trail with a fair amount of hikers, runners and bike riders. It was an enjoyable jaunt through the Sonoran Preserve.
