Went back to this area again to finish off some more trails I haven't done yet. I planned out my route and thought it would be only about a half mile more than what I've usually done, but it turned out to be more like 2 miles extra. I got an earlier start of an extra half hour, so my end time wasn't too much later than normal.

It was pretty cloudy most of the morning, the last hour or two the sun finally started to come out. This caused all the flowers to bloom, which started to wreak havoc with my allergies. I'm also fighting a cold this weekend, so that added an extra layer of aggravation.

From the Apache Wash Trailhead, I headed west on the Sidewinder Trail and came back on the Ocotillo Trail. The trailhead up by the Carefree Highway on the NW end of this area still hasn't been finished yet, but they've opened up the Sidewinder and Ocotillo trails enough that you can pretty much do all of those trails.
