| no partners | | What was supposed to be a short berry harvesting walk turned into a solid little afternoon loop across interesting and familiar terrain.
Plentiful amounts of worked stone and a couple metate encountered but no ruins or petroglyphs this trip.
Boggy hot all day long in relentless sunshine as the flirtatious monsoon storm stayed and loomed over the Mogollon Rim and unfortunately never came south.
I still want to hike up to the nearby 6107’ “Oak Springs Tower” one of these days as the view of it from the south just beckons for it and I’ve came across all sorts of neat stuff around it’s perimeter. |
