| no partners | | Started early near Jumping Spring and hiked all morning zig zagging down, up and through the many many tucked away draws and side canyons that surround Leonard eventually making my way down to the main canyon itself.
Overcast for the majority of the early day helped a lot as it’s still been toasty for the pups even at the 7000’+ elevation.
After hanging around Dines Tank we headed up stream to the Buck Spring confluence and then repeated what we did on the way down on the way up taking our time exploring the many wildlife filled pockets that surround this awesome canyon.
Great but tiring day of solitude out in the Mogollon backcountry. |
