| no partners | | Another easy ECC exploration utilizing another random but specific ridge entry in and out of the canyon with some friends and our dogs.
Out of all the summer trips there this year this particular stretch of creek is hands down my favorite so far.
Football field size swimming pools, sandy beaches and dense greenery were the theme of the day.
I have always been interested in this unique cove on the west side of the creek and finally made it there and walked around the lone pinnacle of rock and came across a couple old camps sites and numerous intriguing caves and alcoves up above that I did not check out.
With no cloud cover days have been toasty and arid feeling as ever up in Rim Country so we waited until the sun dropped over the ridge around 5:30pm to make our way out of the canyon. |
