| no partners | | A quick Sunday morning hike. I chose this one to avoid the crowds in the Superstitions.
I always like to take people out to this little hike. The path is getting so clear. It's an actual trail now. We saw no other people except for a couple that had driven up to the end of the road to get a view. Other than that, we had the place to ourselves.
We went up along the east/north side, but had some younger ones with us and opted to not climb up between the horns. We did take the back way around and did a little bushwhacking back to the trail.
Nice views as always - Canyon Lake, Weavers Needle, Four Peaks and Saguaro Lake, all from one place!
A nice hike on a beautiful day.
When we first started out along the road and we ran into a big pile of crap someone had dumped. There's not much else that pisses me off more than seeing this. Someone did not want to spend $10 for the dump and decided to take it out to the desert. PATHETIC. I hope that does not encourage more losers to do the same. UGH! |
