A cool and cloudy day. Lots off cars at the trail head. This the Bursera Connector to Bursera Canyon. At the top I turned left and headed down the hill on the Bursera Trail. After crossing the wash at the bottom I took the Gila Trail. When I reached the top I decided to take the connector back to the Bursera Trail and then Bursera Canyon back. That made a nice loop, and it gave me the opportunity to go down Bursera Canyon.

On the way down the Bursera Canyon trail I heard the roar of fighter jet engines, looked up and saw four of them heading South away from me. A couple minutes later I heard them again. Still too far to identify. I stopped and watched and saw that they were flying in a large circle. They made at least six laps, then they weren't into a side by side formation and flew over South Mountain. Pretty cool stuff!
