Decided to take advantage of the full moon and do a might hike. Started within an hour before sunset and headed up the Lost Ranch trail to get up to the National Trail by sunset the moon was just rising when I got there. I started heading East on the National trail looking forward to a nice view of the moon, but clouds moved in and stayed in front of the moon until I got to the Pyramid trail. Once the clouds got out of the way it was absolutely beautiful seeing the whole landscape lit up by moonlight. I saw no other people from the time I started up lost Ranch until I got back to the car. An excellent night hike!
