Didn’t feel like making a long drive or hiking in a burn area but wanted to get some exercise so it was back to Usery Park and the Pass Mountain LoopTrail. Did the basic loop except again avoiding the southwest portion by taking the extra loop around Cats Peak. Parked along Meridian near the end of Meridian Trail. Did the loop CCW , only half dozen other hikers encountered on the way to the saddle. About the same numbers between the viewpoint and Wind Cave. Spotted separately a bobcat and a coyote darting across Blevins Trail but wasn’t quick enough to get a photo. Savored the surrounding views while taking an extended coffee break near peak 2525 above the Maricopa Trail junction. Perfect hiking weather today.
