| no partners | | I had a free afternoon and looked outside and decided to get in a hike. I have not done Pass Mountain Loop in a while, so off I went.
I opted for the counter-clockwise loop from the Meridian TH. Lots of cars in the lot when I arrived. I did see some hikers, but not as many as I thought I would. There were lots of mountain bikers. I was surprised to see a group going down from the saddle on the backside of the mountain. I don't think I have ever seen mountain bikers on this side.
The loop is the same as always. A little up, a little down and a nice workout with great scenery. The clouds at the start were really cool. They moved off as I progressed and there was short be really nice sunset as I was heading back to the trailhead.
It's been a while since I have done the Pass Mountain Ridgeline. I was eyeing that as I circled the mountain. Time to hit that one again soon too. |
