I did a short 4 day exploration of this AZT section. Since I had spine surgery in Nov,
I had to cut the trip into two day out and backs centered near Colossal cave.
Was great to be there again, love the folded structure. Weather was cold and
windy, not much water out there. After that I made a short day hike out by the
AZT tiger mine trailhead. Back for more next week ! If anyone needs info on
getting back to backpacking after spinal fusion let me know ! haha
unfortunately the injury was from some of the crazy trips logged here
previously with 6+ liters water !
