| no partners | | Started from the west end of the newly built Bush Lite Trail, where a small parking area is, and hiked it all the way to the east end. I was also wanting to hike the loop portion of it in the middle, but it looks like that part hasn't been completed yet. From the east end of Bush Lite, I hiked the Scorpion Trail south, then Scorpion Alley west and did part of the Stinger Loop. On the way back to the parking lot, I found what looks like the southern half of the Bush Lite Loop Trail. It was very faint and wasn't completely in line with what the map shows as proposed. Finished up with just over 10 miles.
Saw only bikers, and there weren't very many of them. The weather starting out was actually cool, and never really got hot. The humidity made up for that, though. Very nice to see everything so green at this time of year. |
