Just a quick and easy loop starting from the Coon Bluff/Bush Highway intersection, along wild horse trails out to Scorpion Alley, over to Scorpion, west across Bush Highway, horse trails over to Salt River Trail 100 and finally a lazy arc back to the car.
We only met one rattlesnake, which was at the edge of the Scorpion Alley Tail. After the first quick warning rattle it didn't feel threatened enough to rattle much more at all... and Tracey wasn't about to allow me to rile it up just for a video. :stop:
And so my video turned out to be a whole lot of nothing... silent rattles don't make for post-worthy video. ](*,)
