| no partners | | Started from the ATV TH on Usery Pass Road and took Lance's Trail south to Scorpion Alley, then went on that about halfway and came back on Wild Horse, or some unmarked trail. Lots of target shooters at the NRA Pit. A biker early on asked me what I thought about them shooting there. I said I thought of it the same way as why I don't go anywhere on Labor Day weekend, there's always the one idiot that messes it up for everyone. I kept away from that area as best as I could along Lance's Trail. By the time it started to heat up a little, there wasn't much shooting.
only saw bikers, no other hikers. Traffic got lighter as the weather got warmer, but since I finished before 9:30am, it really wasn't that hot. |
