| no partners | | With my #2 son in town for the holidays, I took advantage of his love for hiking and took him out to one of my favorite spots, the Boulder Canyon Trail overlooks from Canyon Lake Marina.
A few open spots at the marina parking lot when we started out and we came across a few groups going up and then back down. We had a horse riding group of cowgirls right at the view area as well. Very cool optics!
The weather was perfect. A little hazy and not a cloud in sight, but very lovely for sure.
Nothing to add to this one. It's a relative easy hike to the view areas. A little up and down, but the payoff is the views. The view from the first hill and then the closer 2nd viewpoint before you drop down to La Barge Canyon is so amazing. This view alone is better than some National Parks I have visited. And, that's only one sliver of the views in the Supes.
After hiking back down, we developed a thirst that only a nice cold beer from Tortilla Flats could remedy. A good morning spent with my #2 son who is normally out in Washington State. |
