Increasing hike length to get ready for NTT in a couple weeks. It was cool and mostly cloudy but sun came out a couple times. As usual I saw very few people once I got past the top of Pyramid hill, just the way I like it. Really a perfect day on South Mountain.

I have not been hiking enough and I felt it. Should have taken it a bit slower up Pyramid hill. My knees were aching at the top. Showing down helped that, but by the end I was feeling beat. Original plan was to stay on Bursera Trail, but when I got to Bursera Canyon fork I decided to take the easy way back.
