National Trail Trek 2022. 4th year on a row for me Back to the traditional shuttle format which is way better than the virtual format from last year.

Phoenix did make some changes for Çovid. Precautions included having more buses, requiring masks on the buses, and leaving every other row of seats empty. It was a cool and overcast morning which was perfect for hiking. Lunch was right on Summit Road instead of the Holbert lookout which was a little easier. After lunch it sprinkled a bit, but not enough to make us wet. We made good time. The sun came out the last couple of miles making it a bit warm, but not too bad. Felt good at the finish. It seems that training does make a difference!
