| no partners | | Same hike as a couple of weeks ago. Even though gas prices aren't nearly high enough for @LindaAnn 's liking, this is nice for me because no car is needed. If anyone cares, I call this the 'Menkey' hike because it uses the Louis Menk Trail and I've always gotten a kick out of the Inspector Clouseau Pink Panther scene with the street performer and his monkey...or menkey...or minkey  [ youtube video ]
I saw two 'cougars' at the Slate TH and I was certain they were going to ask to touch my hair...till I remembered that I became invisible about 15 years ago. 
Good time for me but way too warm at the finish. I sure hope we get the rain predicted for Wednesday. |
