| partners | | My sister Michele (PilatesLady), from Tucson came up for the day to visit with Cathy. We decided to get in a quick hike before the day got too warm. She had never heard of or been to Camp Creek Falls and since it was close by we headed on out.
Eight cars at the trailhead when we arrived. That's eight more than what was once usual for a weekday morning pre-covid. Things sure have changed since the virus arrived. We passed some folks in both directions on the way down and actually had the falls to ourselves for a while. Not a lot of water flowing but enough to make the trip worthwhile. The ash, willow, sycamore, and cottonwoods were all showing signs of leafing out. It should be much greener in another month or so.
After the hike we had a nice home made ravioli linner with leftover apple blossoms a la mode from the recent hike with @tibber , @johnlp , and @trekkin_gecko . Thanks for making the drive up sis...it was great to see you! |
