We needed something flat and fairly smooth as this was Cathy's first off pavement hike in 14 months and only her second in 20 months. The post transplant chemo is over and all of her lines have thankfully been removed. :y: They are giving her steroids to keep her on her feet and they seem to be working despite the nasty side effects. We are hoping she has finally turned the corner. :pray:

We went north from the P.A. Seitts Trailhead to the the old Cave Creek Cemetery and back. We saw a jackrabbit and a sunrise!
