| no partners | | Evening hike for a little exercise. Hot and humid, should have gone early this morning instead. We passed by the reconstructed 10 Stamp Ore Mill at the museum before a small climb on Black Mountain which we quickly aborted. No breeze and a real sweat fest complete with gnats.
Cathy showed me a collection of toy wagons and assorted bric a brac she had found in the desert on a previous hike. I'm guessing it once was a tiny town diorama of Cave Creek assembled by children years ago. I think you'd need to be a child again for any of it to make sense. |
