Floated the full circumference of the lake with a couple of beach stops along the way. Also checked out a couple of remote campsites I haven't been to in over a decade. As daylight waned we shared the water with a beaver that was aggressively displeased to have to share his typically isolated lake with a couple of humans. It's quite impressive to see and hear a beaver slap its tail on the surface of the water, and while we gave it a wide berth it was unsuccessful in getting us to leave altogether. We didn't see a lodge or any dams upstream, but I'm glad to see this magnificent creature making a home here.
