I decided to explore a little so I went up the Cavalry Trail and looked up a few side canyons including Squaw Canyon. I finally saw a Cardinal that stayed still long enough for a picture. I'd need a huge lense to bring it in close for a decent photo. I was pretty much on the trail alone until getting within few miles of First Water TH. Somebody cut back the brush on the Dutchamn Trail as well as Bull Pass. Cavalry Trail could use a trim as it was untouched.
