| no partners | | I have been wanting to hike to Bell Pass from the Adero Canyon TH, and the weather was nice today so I decided to go for it.
This is good exercise hike, and there weren't many people out on the trails -- maybe a half dozen mountain bikers and about the same number of hikers. Seeing about one person per mile on an urban hike isn't too bad.
It was cloudy in the early part of the hike, and it drizzled for a few minutes. The sun was out for the second half of the hike, and it was a nice 58 degrees when I got back to the TH. |

Wildflowers Observation Isolated I saw a couple of Dichelostemma capitatum, a few lupine, a few chuparosa, and some ocotillo blooms. I'd say that I saw a flower every mile, so that is about as "isolated" as it gets. |
