A trip up the bumpy, weather-beaten old road to visit an old favorite and savor a little time out of the heat of the desert floor. Not that it was much cooler up at 7200 feet with a low temp of 61 degrees (69 at home in Tucson that morning).

Not many people camping, but the road was fairly busy Sunday on my way up (which is usual). Much better in places like this after the summer rains have arrived.
