Though it was a holiday weekend (which I loathe), I was surprised to see my favorite spot to camp here was available Monday, so I reserved it.

I arrived at about 5 PM local time and pleasantly found that most of the holiday crowd had left the park.

It was pretty breezy, which is typical this time of year, but nothing to the level of annoying. Beautiful night and slept well, just what I needed. Enjoyed my morning leisurely, then headed to Silver City around noontime for a stop at Little Toad Creek Brewery. I enjoyed a couple of cold brews and a BS session with a random stranger at the bar (perfect). I purchased some of their Mixed Up Mule cocktails in a can to go, and then it was time to head home to Tucson. Fun.
