Hiked Marcos De Niza with Victoria for our weekend fitness hike.

We are getting prepped for a backpacking trip to Colorado so getting weekly fitness hikes in is needed. Alyssa and Juan did not make it this time they had a party the night before lol. This was Victoria's 3rd hike since being cleared to return to normal activities. She was finally fully heat acclimated and we did my usual 4 miles of Marcos De Niza, not cutting it short like last time.

As usual it was a good fitness hike, we were fairly early so it was not so hot. The heat kept most of the crowds away.

We did see a smaller rattlesnake (a grey one that blended in pretty well). We walked right past him and he did not rattle or (apparently) even react as I didn't see him until we were past. Maybe he was sleeping? Anyway that was fortunate, stay safe out there lol.

A good hike as usual, looking forward to Mt Graham and Colorado coming up.
