Out and back to the saddle. Cloud cover and a nice breeze for the first mile, then bright sunshine with an occasional breeze for the rest of the hike. I saw eight others on the trail. I had the saddle to myself but didn’t stay long.

The masses will be coming soon. An 8:30 start won’t cut it much longer.
