I decided to stay close to home and do this lasso loop hike today.

I did the loop clockwise, and also took a side trip up to Bell Pass to add in a little extra distance and elevation gain.

It was a nice day out there with some clouds doing a nice job of filtering the sun.

I saw a nice 6 point buck on the way back, around the Dixie Mine.
