First time starting out from the Needle Vista TH. The 0.3 mile sidewalk to nowhere at the start is a bit interesting. The namesake vista is barely visible above the hills.

I generally had a figure 8 loop downloaded, but ended up just doing a lot of exploring. Lots of rolling ups and downs and some nice saguaro views. Highlights were the Hackberry spring area and the narrow to the south. There is still a fair amount of water flowing.

On the backside, I took a side trip to a mine in the area, and also headed off trail to explore the top of the cliffside above Hackberry Spring. Not too much whacking in the bushwhacking.

All in all, a pleasant explore in the Supes.
