Started from Needle Vista and took the wash trail out to Hackberry Spring. Didn't do any exploring around the spring, took the trail around past the Clapp mine and up to Garden Valley. checked out the Indian Ruin like I always do and headed over to 1st Water TH to the Horse lot and back to Needle Vista. Just north of the horse lot, Wally was hiking the other way. I didn't recognize him immediately, but as he got closer I was thinking, "that might be Wally", and it was. All the other hikers I saw were between the Clapp mine and 1st Water. Temperature was cooler than the day before at Casa Grande. the light clouds probably helped. Most of the start was in the shade, which didn't make for the best pictures, but made the hike much more pleasant.
