Just noticed this one in Route Scout from last month that never got posted. oops

I had hoped to do a longer hike. I rested for a few minutes at the top of the pyramid and decided that it was too hot to keep going. On the way down I saw a little squirrel on the side of the trail. I see these guys all the time and the never sit still long enough for me to get a picture. This one did sit and pose for me.
