Sky was overcast and it looked like it was going to be a cool day, but when I got on the trail I found it was about 80° and not cool at all. But the clouds kept the sun off and so it felt perfect. Hardly anyone on the trail, but I did see a coyote going the other direction. The hills have been getting greener and greener over the past few weeks. There are now some scattered wildflowers in places too. I expect that there will be a lot more very soon.

Wildflowers Observation Light
A few smaller wildflowers in places along the trail including yellow mustard flowers and fiddlenecks and purple scorpionweed flowers. Also a few yellow poppies blooming.
