From where I parked, I looked up at the ridgeline and saw 2 bumps/rocky areas. I thought it would be fine just to go around these areas rather than climb up and down. I found a cairn near the very bottom, channeling to a clearing. This was a good starting point but unfortunately it was not a trail. A trail really wasn't needed. I was able to weave around the trees and brush as there were many ways to go. You'll want to avoid the areas of cholla, which appears to be to the left (South side). At the first rocky area, I stayed right and was able to easily hike around it. Looking up ahead, I saw a larger hill and I was able to go around the right side of it. Stay close to the side of the hill and eventually you will see the saddle behind it and it should be easy to get to the saddle. Once here, I could see the peak was just ahead. I continued and zig-zagged where needed and eventually I found myself at the summit. The summit had several rock piles but I didn't see a registry anywhere. I took some photos and a quick video and started to head down basically the same way I went up. On the way down I went RIGHT around the South side of both rocky areas just to change it up a bit. I saw some interesting colored rocks on the way down. I also saw an old mining hole on the way down. I believe it was at the lower of the 2 rocky areas.
