Another toasty week, another trip to South Mountain. I started ~5AM again and had the flashlight out along the rockier stretches before sunrise. I'm always impressed by the mountain bikers going full speed down the rougher/steeper sections in pitch dark with only a headlamp lighting the way. It was quiet on the trails and a little breezy at Dobbins Lookout. There were a few people up there, then mostly empty trails on the way back, though I did cross paths with @trekkin_gecko again, the second time in five days and in almost the same spot we saw each other last time. I also saw a small snake slither off the trail back near the trailhead.
