| no partners | | A quick morning exercise hike along the southern trails of Usery MRP. I started at the Crismon Rd TH and made a loop from the Levee Trail and then on to: Channel Trail, Noso, Cat Peaks Pass, Cat Peaks, Blevins and back via the Levee.
I was hoping for some nice light with all the clouds, by Mr Sun remained hidden the entire hike. The temps were pleasant, but the humidity was almost tropical. Oh well, I was there to get in some early miles and that is exactly what I did. I brought no water, no pack and just my phone, which unfortunately, I actually had to answer a few times. Ah, The perks of being in business for yourself.
A few groups of mountain bikers, a couple of trail runners & hikers, but it was mostly solitude the entire length. No critters to report. |
