This would be our 3rd inside cathedral visit on our third day in France, with many more to come in Spain later. Oh, and another here too. Of course, we saw the outsides of several more. The largest project of the mandate, the Church of the Holy Trinity is under construction until 2027. The budget for the operation amounts to 25 million euros.

In the church, the light is actually brought in by the white glass windows on the second level of the elevation.
Like many others in Paris; the Church of the Holy Trinity was built under the Second Empire. The architect was Théodore Ballu who also built the Basilica of Sainte-Clotilde . Completed in 1867, the Sainte-Trinité is in an imposing neo-Renaissance style, half Italian, half French. Without a doubt, the architecture and decoration were intended to impress the crowds and to mark the presence of Catholicism in this district of Paris.
