We would walk under/via The Pavillon Sully, which was actually originally called the Pavillon de l'Horlodge, due to the fact that it was one of the main wings of the Louvre Museum that also had a clock.
Western facade of Pavillon Sully. It is a portion of the Louvre Museum in Paris. Construction began in 1624 and was completed in 1654.

And you can see this pediment titled Napoleon I dominating the History and the Arts from the courtyard of The Louvre called the Cour Napoleon, which is actually the west facade facing toward the I M Pei pyramid.
