The Terrace at Galeries Lafayette from the 8th floor. The weather wasn't the best for the views, nonetheless, they were impressive. Later in the evening, we would get to see all of the Eiffel Tower and tomorrow, we got lucky and rode up to the top of it! Here is more from my walking around the terrace [ youtube video ] .
The stained glass currently in place forms an immense flower comprised of 10 luminous sections stretching over a total of 1000m.
It was removed during WWII. Some of the stained glass panels were never found despite having been carefully numbered. As the missing pieces were replaced by new, entirely white glass, the Dome is therefore not exactly the same as at its origin.
