UL Grand cupola-topped Institut de France in baroque style, the headquarters of 5 French intellectual academies. Institute of France (Institut de France), which since 1806 has housed the five French academies. The site was originally occupied by the Nesle Tower (Tour de Nesle), a defense work for the Left Bank terminus of the city wall of 1220.

UR: The Monnaie de Paris is the national monetary institution of France. A public industrial and commercial institution since 2007, it notably exercises the sovereign mission of manufacturing the French national currency . Created on June 25 in 864 under the reign of Charles II by the Edict of Pîtres , it is one of the oldest companies in the world and the oldest French institution still in operation.

Middle photo: Quai de Conti, often referred as « quai Conti » is a quay along the Seine in the 6th arrondissement of Paris in the quartier Monnaie. It has a length of 307 meters (1020 feet) and a width of 22 meters (72 feet). Created in the year 1655 and it got its current name in 1814.
This route is named after the hôtel de Conti which had its main entrance there. It was on its site that work began in 1771 on building the Hôtel des Monnaies.

LL The equestrian statue of Henry IV is a bronze equestrian statue completed by Pietro Tacca. The Henry IV statue, which now stands on the bridge Pont Neuf, was indirectly commissioned by Marie de Médicis for her husband, King Henry IV of France. Prior to the statue's completion, Henry IV was assassinated.
