To walk through the garden with us, check out more in my video [ youtube video ] .
The new garden site is the third largest garden in Paris, after the Tuileries Garden and Luxembourg Garden. The new garden featured long alleys shaded by trees, elaborate parterres and flower beds, a fountain in the centre, and a circular water basin at the north end.
Today it contains some 500 trees, including four double rows of lime trees planted in the 1970s and red horse chestnuts planted in 1910.

The garden of the Palais-Royal is the ONLY GARDEN in Paris classified as “Remarkable Garden” by the French Ministry of Culture.
