See the glass walkway on the right. Accessible from the 3rd floor of the Coupole Store, the Glasswalk is a 9-metre (29 feet) -long glass walkway suspended in mid-air at a height of 16 metres (52 feet).
The stained glass currently in place forms an immense flower comprised of 10 luminous sections stretching over a total of 1000m.
It was removed during WWII. Some of the stained glass panels were never found despite having been carefully numbered. As the missing pieces were replaced by new, entirely white glass, the Dome is therefore not exactly the same as at its origin.
